Upper Playground, Fifty24SF and Ningyoushi, presents a new mini figures series, GET SMALL San Francisco. GET SMALL San Francisco features four recognized San Francisco street and fine art artists, Jeremy Fish, Sam Flores, Coro, and David Choe.
Sam Flores landed in San Francisco in 1995 and quickly took to his new environment. He immersed himself in the local street culture of skateboarding and graffiti writing where he garnered much attention. Like many of his contemporaries, Flores found that he was developing a strong graphic sense. That along with his distinctive illustrative style helped shape his unique approach to painting.
